hundred word wednesday – “evolution”

Today’s story is about nothing. Hope you like it!!!!!!!!

One day, a tiny moth flew past Edward’s window, around the corner of his small house, and came to rest on a lawn chair in his backyard. Edward watched it land from the next chair over. The two sat quietly regarding each other for a couple of minutes, then the moth flew off.

This was a moment billions of years in the making, and the consequences were at once trivial and monumental.

Neither Edward nor the moth ever thought about the complexity of their interaction. The moth died four days later, and Edward sixty-two years after that.
