hundred word wednesday – “bonnie & clyde”

In Hundred Word Wednesdays on November 3, 2010 at 3:15 pm

Back on time this week. You guys know the score. Hope this one inspires some excellently tiny tales.

The stakes were low, but the thrill sustained them as they committed their crime. They talked of how they felt like Bonnie & Clyde, and it was time for their big score.

They had it all figured out. First, she ran interference on the accountant. Heart racing and mouth dry, she asked about the pictures on the accountant’s desk. As the accountant told a lengthy story of his son’s lastest baseball game, her husband did his dirty work, making key changes to the paperwork.

They calmly fled the scene, having planted the seed for an extra $200 on their tax return.
